How To Print Coloring Pages
This page covers the basics we use on Coloring Otter. It is meant to be quick, clear, and easy to check before you print.
Open the PDF first
Open the PDF before printing so you can check the full layout in print preview and make sure the page looks right.
Use portrait by default
Most of our pages are portrait sheets. Start at 100% size, and only switch to fit-to-page if your printer clips the edges.
Plain white paper works well
Regular white printer paper is enough for crayons and colored pencils. If you plan to use markers, thicker paper usually holds up better.
One last check before printing
If the preview looks cropped, try fit-to-page. If it already fits cleanly, leave the size alone. A quick preview check usually saves paper and avoids reprints.
